Dulu, terutama ketika kuliah, gue adalah orang yang impulsif.
Baru kelar kelas tiba tiba ada ajakan “Eh! Naik gunung yuk?” gue sambut dengan “Ayooo”
Lagi begadang malam malam di kampus tiba tiba diajak “Eh mandi air panas yuk di ciater”
Gue sambut dengan “Ayooo”
Impulsif itu memang sangat menyenangkan..
Tapi, orang sering menyalah artikan impulsif dengan “Go with the flow”
Menurut gue, “Go with the flow” salah satu bentuk kepasrahan. Pasrah yang menjurus ke bahaya.
Sering kan elo ketemu dengan seseorang yang bilang “Gue itu orangnya go with the flow ajaaa”
Aneh menurut gue.
Kenapa aneh?
Karena menurut gue, orang yang suka ngomong gitu, kalau disuru naik perahu pasti juga tidak mau kalau ga dikasi dayung.
Pasti yang baca dalam hati akan bilang “Ya iyalaaaaaaah”
Atau “Ya beda kaleeee, itu mah gila namanya naik perahu tapi ga pake dayung”
Padahal secara prinsip sama aja.
Kenapa orang naik perahu pasti akan menolak kalau ga dikasi dayung?
Karena dia ga akan bisa mengontrol kemana arah perahunya.. apalagi mengingat bahwa dia nggak tahu kemana sungai ini akan mengalir dan seperti apa medannya…
Iya kalau airnya jernih dan tenang.. kalau tiba tiba deras dan berbatu, lalu (amit amit) menuju ke ujung air terjun?
Ya sama aja dengan hidup.
Emang kita bisa nebak arah hidup? Emang hidup tidak berbahaya?
Justru karena tidak terasa dan terlihat secara nyata bahayanya malah jadi LEBIH bahaya dan mematikan.
Malah dalam analogi tadi, biasanya, air sungai itu selalu tenang sebelum menuju ujung air terjun..
