Tiba tiba otak gue bertanya kepada diri gue sendiri
“Kapan gue akan berhenti menulis lagu yang mengusung semangat Nasionalisme?”
Sebenarnya gue pun susah untuk tahu jawabannya
I never planned things when it comes to writings.
I write songs i want to write.
Kalau gue ingin ngomongin itu, maka gue akan menulis lagu tentang itu.
Kalau gue ga ingin, maka gue ga nulis.
Tapi gue juga mengakui, ada sedikit keharusan untuk terus menulis lagu yg mengusung nasionalisme dan patriotisme saat ini
Mengapa?
Karena perlakuan yang gue terima adalah justru alasan kenapa gue masih harus melakukan ini
Ketika gue berdiri dan berteriak “Angkat tanganmu untuk Indonesia” atau “Kami Tidak Takut” atau “Hey saudaraku sebangsa setanahku, besarkan hatimu se Gelora Bung Karno” atau “Indonesia! Indonesia! Indonesia! Bukan satu harusnya bersatu!” masih ada yang memicingkan matanya ke gue
Ketika gue menggebu gebu dengan kecintaan terhadap Indonesia (yg selalu gue jaga agar masih dalam ambang kewajaran) masih banyak orang yang curiga.
“Kenapa orang ini kok begini amat ya?”
“Ini orang PASTI ada apa apanya nih.. ga mungkin segini cintanya sama Indonesia”
“Si Pandji mengkomersilkan nasionalisme nih”
“Ini pasti ujungnya ada apa apanya nih.. nggak mungkin tulus begini kecintaannya..”
Semua kalimat kalimat diatas muncul karena sebuah keadaan:
Saat ini, jarang sekali orang yang vokal terhadap kecintaannya utk Indonesia, dan MAU mengajak orang lain utk membangkitkan kecintaannya utk Indonesia.
Karena masih sangat jarang, akhirnya orang orang yg vokal dan ikut mengajak orang untuk cinta Indonesia jadi nampak aneh.
Dimana mana kan selalu gitu
Yang beda sendiri selalu keliatan aneh
Dan orang di dunia masih punya kecenderungan untuk “Hammer down a sticking out nail”
Padahal seharusnya, yang aneh adalah mereka yang ragu, skeptis, bahkan menghina negara.
Maka gue akan terus mempromosikan nasionalisme, terus mempromosikan kecintaan terhadap Indonesia
Terus mengajak orang untuk menunjukkan kecintaannya
Terus mengajak orang untuk mengucapkan kecintaannya
Karena kalau disimpan untuk diri sendiri, orang lain tidak akan pernah tahu, dan kalau orang lain tidak tahu, mereka tidak akan ikut terinspirasi
Maka kembali ke pertanyaan tadi: “Kapan gue akan berhenti menulis lagu yang mengusung semangat Nasionalisme?”
Ketika gue sudah tidak lagi jadi orang aneh di Indonesia
Ketika sudah banyak orang orang seperti gue
Ketika justru orang orang Indonesia yang berani beraninya mengaku benci Indonesia jadi sesuatu yang aneh
Ketika cinta Indonesia sudah menjadi sesuatu yang biasa..
Baru, gue akan beristirahat.
Sebelum Indonesia bisa seperti ini, maka gue tidak akan berhenti menulis lagu lagu bersemangat nasionalisme
