Beberapa hari yang lalu, gue nonton CNN Heroes. Lalu gue teringat acara Kick Andy Heroes, dan gue menemukan suatu fakta
Bahwa memang orang orang yang diakui dunia pantas jadi pahlawan di acara semacam CNN Hero, adalah orang yg fokus dgn begitu lama kepada 1 masalah spesifik.
Tidak ada CNN Hero yg generalis atau dikenal karena kegiatan sosialnya general dan banyak serta berbeda beda.
Selalu hanya 1 orang dgn 1 kegiatan sosial yg spesifik. Seorang yg mencoba mengatasi sebuah masalah yg menurutnya mungkin bukan yang paling mendesak, tapi sesuai dengan panggilan jiwanya.
Ini menurut gue yang penting untuk kita cermati sama sama
Berhentilah untuk berkegiatan sosial sesuai dengan yang sedang ramai. Berpindah pindah kegiatan sosial karena mengikuti apa yang sedang ramai dibahas media.
Dimanakah panggilan jiwa kita dalam berkegiatan sosial?
AIDS?
Penanganan bencana alam?
Anak jalanan?
Pendidikan?
Kesehatan?
Bullying?
Lansia?
Pemberdayaan ekonomi?
Lingkungan?
Kesehatan jiwa?
Jangan beramal hanya di bulan Ramadhan karena mereka membutuhkan uluran tangan anda setiap hari termasuk di bulan selain Ramadhan
Jangan pindah pindah kegiatan sosial karena yang anda tinggal akan selalu membutuhkan bantuan anda.
Ingat Bilqis? Betapa banyak yg muncul untuk membantu (yang adalah sangat bagus tentunya) lewat “Koin Cinta Untuk Bilqis” , tapi ketika akhirnya Bilqis dipanggil Yang Maha Kuasa, banyak yang pergi meninggalkan anak anak lain dgn penyakit yang sama.
Orang tua yg anaknya punya kondisi yang sama sudah banyak berharap melihat animo masyarakat terhadap penyakit Atresia Bilier atau penyakit dimana saluran empedu tidak terbentuk atau tidak berkembang secara normal. Tapi akhirnya mereka menemukan diri mereka hampa, tangan terbuka tanpa ada lagi yang memperhatikan..
Panggilan jiwa saya sejak 2006 adalah untuk anak anak pasien kanker di Indonesia lewat Yayasan Pita Kuning Anak Indonesia.
Yayasan yang gue dirikan bersama teman teman di mana gue berdiri sebagai pembina bersama dr Edi Tehuteru.
Di mana panggilan jiwa anda?
