Millenium Development Goals.
Adalah sebuah perjanjian yang ditanda tangani oleh para pemimpin dunia pada tahun 2000 untuk menghapus kemiskinan pada tahun 2015.
Stand Up and take Actions adalah sebuah ajakan, agar kita semua mengulang sukses tahun lalu, dimana 7.5 orang Indonesia, bergabung dengan puluhan bahkan ratusan juta orang di dunia, berdiri bersama pada jam yang sama (disesuaikan dgn jam masing masing negara) secara serempak untuk menjadi simbol.
Berdirinya ratusan juta orang sedunia adalah simbol bahwa kami para rakyatnya ingat akan janji para pemimpin, maka sebaiknya mereka tidak “pura pura” lupa,
Tahun ini, kita akan melakukan hal yang sama pada tanggal 18 oktober di Monas. Kita coba utk mendapatkan 10 jt orang di Indonesia untuk BANGKIT BERAKSI.
Pertanyaannya, setelah menuntut pada tanggal 18, lalu apa?
Selain menuntut, kita bisa apa?
Ada 2 jenis anak muda di dunia
Mereka yang menuntut perubahan
Mereka yang menciptakan perubahan
Selain menuntut, kita bisa menciptakan perubahan itu.
Lewat posting ini gue mau mengajak semua orang untuk membuat perubahan mendasar yang tanpa kita sadari telah kita remehkan.
CUCI TANGAN.
I know some of you’ve heard about the me being the ambassador for lifebuoy.
Sebenarnya bukan ambassador untuk lifebuoy tapi untuk sebuah hal yang lebih tinggi dari brand itu sendiri.
CUCI TANGAN.
Akui, kita menganggap remeh cuci tangan.
Guepun tadinya begitu, hingga 3 kejadian besar terjadi dalam hidup gue.
Pertama, gue pernah tertular penyakit mata gara gara tangan gue yang ga dicuci.
Mungkin gue menyentuh tombol lift yang sebelumnya disentuh orang sakit mata yg ngucek mata berairnya.. Lalu gue ngucek ngucek mata gue.. dan akhirnya 1 bulan gue ga bisa kerja karena mata gue bengkak dan ga bisa buka kalau bangun tidur karena ada cairan yg mengering…
I know. Gross.
Kejadian ke dua adalah lahirnya Wadilla Dipo Wongsoyudo.
Putra gue.
Menjadi Ayah membuat gue harus mengubah gaya hidup gue jadi lebih higienis.
Karena gue tau, walaupun gue cinta mati sama putra gue, justru guelah yang bisa membawa penyakit kepada putra gue//
Kejadian ketiga adalah, Dipo di opname di RS.

Tangan kecil itu harus ditembus jarum infus.
Nangis gue melihat dia tidur di rumah sakit baru umur 2 tahun.
Walaupun Dipo masuk rumah sakit tidak ada hubungannya dengan cuci tangan, tapi melihat anak sendiri berbaring di tempat tidur.. berhati hati dengan tangan kirinya yang ada infus sehingga hanya mau pake tangan kanan adalah pemandangan yang tidak ingin gue liat lagi..
Kita semua ga sadar, bahwa jutaan balita di dunia meninggal karena diare dan infeksi saluran pernafasan. Penyakit yang ditularkan oleh tangan elo dan gue.
Angka kematian balita yang tinggi adalah salah satu faktor pemiskinan.
Pemiskinan, adalah hal hal yang menjadikan miskin.
Kalau kita semua mencuci tangan, kita bisa menurunkan angka kematian balita itu sampai dengan 44%
Dan betapa mudah JUGA murahnya mencuci tangan.
Karena itu, dia sering dianggap remeh.
Karena kesalahan terbesar kita semua adalah
HANYA MENCUCI TANGAN KETIKA KITA LIAT TANGAN KITA KOTOR.
padahal
WALAUPUN TANGAN TIDAK TERLIHAT KOTOR BUKAN BERARTI PENYAKIT TIDAK BERSARAN DISANA.
Mengubah ini, tidak mudah.
Karena tidak cukup kalau kita SENDIRI yang mencuci tangan.
Cuci tangan adalah budaya. dan harus dibudayakan seluasnya.
Karena suatu hari, bisa saja ada orang dengan budaya yang berbeda dengan elo, masuk rumah kita, tidak cuci tangan, lalu mencubit cubit pipi anak kita, nyuapin roti/kue ke anak kita, tanpa kita tau tangan itu udah kemana aja.
Gue tau elo akan merasa, “Ih, kok gitu banget sih? biasa aja lageee…”
Sekali lagi, 3 hal besar terjadi pada diri gue, yang tidak terjadi kepada elo.
Gue berdoa supaya elo tidak pernah mengalami hal itu.
Elo mau mata lo bengep?
Elo mau membawa penyakit dari luar rumah utk ditularkan kepada anak elo?
Elo mau melihat anak balita lo rawat inap di rumah sakit dengan infus menembus tangan kecilnya krn Diare dan ISPA?
Elo mau menurunkan angka kematian balita?
Elo mau stop pemiskinan?
Solusinya sederhana…
Sesederhana, cuci tangan…
