Launching album ke 2 sudah semakin dekat.
Posting ini tidak akan mengumumkan tanggal, jam dan lokasi launching.

Disini, gue mau mengumumkan 2 hal.
Pertama, HTM adalah Rp 50.000,-
Kedua, everybody pays.
Ga ada guestlist. Ga ada free enterance.
Everybody pays.
And here’s why:
Gue, menemukan salah satu kunci agar industri kreatif, terutama musik untuk bisa bertahan dan bahkan berjaya.
Kuncinya adalah : MENGHARGAI NILAI SEBUAH KARYA
Jadi, gue minta elo untuk bayar untuk masuk ke launching gue.
Gue tidak memberlakukan free enterance, guest list, dan segala tetek bengek yg kita semua pernah dengar.
Gue juga tidak akan memberi album gue kalau elo meminta.
Kalaupun ada yg dapet gratis, adalah karena GUE yang ngasih. Bukan karena gue diminta.
Sampai sini, adakah yang berpikiran gue pelit?
Ada.
Bagus.
Ga usah dateng ke launching gue.

Gue sama sekali nggak ngerti sama orang orang yang suka minta karya buatan temennya.

Gue biasanya menjawab “Ya elah, beli doooong”
Biasanya dia menjawab “Anjirr?? Pelit banget lo!”
Disini, gue kemudian berpikir “Yang pelit gue, ATAU ELO?”
“Elo tau susah payahnya gue bikin album ini, elo tau segala keringat yg menetes, segala jam tidur yang lenyap, segala lelah yang menumpuk, segala uang yang sudah gue keluarkan sendiri, segala jerih payah untuk mengumpulkan uang itu sendiri… Bahkan setelah elo tau itu semua, ELO MASIH MINTA??? TEMAN MACAM APA ELO?”
Kalau bukan temen gue sendiri yg menghargai jerih payah gue, lalu siapa lagi?
Siapa yang pelit? Elo atau gue ?
Ada sebuah cerita, Kanye West pengen nonton konser Jay Z sahabat yang sudah dia anggap sebagai kakak di Madison Square Garden yang merupakan konser terakhir dia sebelum dia pensiun. Kanye nelfon Carline, sekretarisnya Jay Z dan menanyakan apakah Jay Z nitip tiket gratis untuk dia. Betapa terkejut ketika Carline menjawab “Jay nyiapin tiket buat jatah elo, mau bayar lewat apa?
Terkejut Kanye West ketika ternyata Jay Z minta dia untuk tetap BAYAR!

Is this mockery?
Belakangan Kanye paham bahwa Jay Z sedang mengajarkan Kanye untuk tetap menghargai nilai sebuah karya.

Pada launching gue nanti, tidak ada yang gratis.

Dengan belajar menghargai sebuah karya, kita akan bisa mengalahkan pembajakan.
Kita tau bajakan tetep ada, tapi kita memilih untuk beli yang asli.
Di buku Sarah Mc Cartney berjudul THE FAKE FACTOR, ada sebuah survey yg bertanya “Alasan apa elo beli barang asli dari yg palsu?”
Moral, ada di urutan ke 7.
Dibawah kualitas, harga, bahan, dll.
Artinya kalau ada bajakan yang kualitasnya bagus, harganya okey, bahan juga, maka mereka akan tetep beli.
Padahal, harusnya orang ga beli bajakan karena memang secara moral beli bajakan itu salah!
Harusnya, terutama kalau elo sudah berpenghasilan, elo malu untuk dapat gratisan terhadap sebuah karya.
Karena yang harusnya dapet gratisan adalah mereka yang bener bener ga mampu.
Bukan elo.
Elo masih bisa ke starbucks.
Mereka bahkan ga akan pernah berani menatap ke arah starbucks.
Malu kepada mereka.
Kalau kita , elo dan gue, mulai menghilangkan budaya gratisan, maka gratisan akan lebih mudah untuk dijadikan jatah saudara saudara kita yang ga mampu.
