Mulai hari ini, sampai kepada tanggal 29 siang, gue akan nulis production notes yang isinya catatan produksi performance gue untuk Soulnation tgl 29 oktober nanti jam 18.15
Sedikit ngasih bocoran kepada kalian..
Hari ini gue dan band latian lagi…
Ini adalah 3 latian terakhir kami termasuk gladiresik pada hari Kamis dimana semua elemen yang akan ikut serta nongol untuk latian sama sama.
Biar kebayang aja, ID card yang harus diurus oleh kami jumlahnya 54 buah.
54 ID card.
Banyak abis.
Sekedar bayangan aja, tahun lalu itu dengan kehadiran Abdee, Glenn Fredly, Denada, dll aja ID card yang harus kami urus cuma skitar 30an.
Tahun ini gue memang sudah terbayang akan lebih “ribet” ngurus segala macemnya karena tahun ini gue manggung di mainstage.
Di mainstage gue tahu gue musti kasi suguhan yang lebih baik daripada tahun lalu.
Maka gue melakukan studi 
Gue tonton ulang DVD RAN di JJF, DVD Glenn Fredly tribute to Chrisye di JJF, DVD Maliq & D’Essentials di JJF dan DVD Slank di JJF. Semua rilisan Java Festival Production.
Mencoba untuk menemukan benang merah performance yang pantas untuk berada di panggung utama.
Maka ketemulah gue 1 buah kata kunci dan itu adalah : Aransemen.
Sebenernya Aransemen dan Showmanship / Improvisasi dari si musisinya sendiri, tapi soal showmanship sih ga usa dipikirin berhubung gue memang banci tampil )
Sebenarnya, ini bukan hal yang baru gue temukan. Dari tahun 2008 gue selalu coba suguhkan aransemen yang keren.
Tapi justru disitulah tantangannya. Artinya, tahun ini gue harus suguhkan aransemen yang JAUH lebih baik lagi.
Aransemen yang berbeda dari tahun tahun sebelumnya. Dari panggung panggung sebelumnya.
Maka tahun ini gue tambahkan 1 elemen baru yang tidak pernah gue masukkan dalam manggung gue sebelumnya.
Tepatnya, 1 pemain.
1 Pemain ini, memberikan banyak sekali pengaruh dalam hal aransemen. Kali ini, kami bisa melakukan hal hal yang sebelumnya tidak pernah kami lakukan sebelumnya.
Hasilnya, hari ini ketika gue latihan gue sempet beberapa kali merinding.
Karena larut dalam lirik dan larut dalam permainan band gue.
Bagi gue, diri gue sendiri adalah tolok ukur paling dasar terhadap performance gue.
If i feel good about it, thats a good start.
