Sebuah hashtag, disambung dengan sebuah pernyataan, jadi sebuah gerakan yang sangat padu.
Pada awalnya, twitter meledak dengan segala informasi tentang bom megakuningan pada tanggal 17 kemarin.
Tepat 1 bulan sebelum tanggal kemerdekaan kita.
Di twitter, bersliweran informasi yang mencemaskan.
Gue kuatir, terjadi panik yang berlebihan.
Kemudian, terbukti, benar bom.
Kemudian, tersebar foto korban yang sangat tidak layak untuk disebarluaskan.
Terkadang memang, ketika kita melakukan sesuatu, kita tidak berkaca dulu pada diri kita, maukah kita diperlakukan seperti itu.
Menyebar luaskan foto almarhum adalah sesuatu yang sangat tidak pantas.

The same goes with the family member.
Jadi gue minta orang orang di twitter untuk menghentikan penyebaran foto itu.
Ketika sirkulasi foto itu usai, gue memperhatikan timeline twitter gue..

Instantly, i recognized something is stirring…
An effort to clean up the mess that was made by the terrorist.
A mess, that was seen internationally.
Previous to the bombing, the trending topic on twitter is “Michael Jackson” , “Spongebob” and “Harry Potter”
After the bombing, all that the world can see, was the name of Indonesia, smeared.
The people of Indonesia didnt like what we see.
Semua orang Indonesia, bukan cuma yang di departemen pariwisata, sama sama berusaha bersama menciptakan nama baik untuk Indonesia.
Karena siapa coba yang rela negaranya jadi bulan bulan orang luar negri?
“Indonesia? Oooh Bombings!”
“Indonesia? Oh i’ve heard of Indonesia, Terorist!”
Jadi sejumlah orang Indonesia yang bermain twitter berusaha untuk menciptakan trending topics baru
Trending topics yang menyerukan Indonesia dengan konotasi yang baik.
Itulah mengapa yang digunakan adalah #indonesiaunite dan bukan #indonesiabersatu
Karena ketika dia ada di posisi teratas trending topics maka tulisan itu akan dibaca orang SELURUH DUINIA
Itulah juga mengapa mayoritas orang ngetweet pake #indonesiaunite pake bahasa inggris
Karena tujuannya adalah menyebarkan pesan kepada dunia bahwa Indonesia menolak untuk tunduk dengan terorisme
Bahasa inggris adalah bahasa yang dipahami diseluruh dunia.
Itulah semangat #indonesiaunite
Seketika, gue inget “Serangan Umum 1 Maret”
Dimana TNI menguasai Jogkakarta selama 6 jam, hanya untuk memberikan pesan kepada dunia, bahwa Indonesia masih ada. Bahwa perlawanan masih ada. Bahwa perjuangan masih ada. Bahwa Indonesia, masih ada.
Merebut posisi teratas trending topics memiliki fungsi yang sama.
Tanpanya, orang di dunia (terutama yang bermain twitter) akan berasumsi, Indonesia saat itu adalah negara yang mencemaskan, menakutkan, mengkhawatirkan, horor…

13 hari sebelum mega kuningan meledak.
Lagunya, sudah direkam, pada bulan Januari 2009.
Lagunya, sudah gue tulis, pada bulan November 2008.
Orang pada bingung “Kok bisa persis sama dengan kondisi sekarang?”
Gue ga tau!!!!
Yang gue tau, saat itu, gue benci dengan perhatian media terhadap para pelaku pemboman.
Ini adalah segerombolan orang yang membunuh umat manusia, menghancurkan negara Indonesia dan mencoreng namanya.
Kenapa kok kita bisa merasa mereka sepenting itu hingga diliput mulu SETIAP HARI??
Maka lahirlah, lagu KAMI TIDAK TAKUT (KTT)
Verse pertama lagu itu, SANGAT menggambarkan alasan penulisan lagiu itu.
Tiba tiba, hanya dalam 1 hari hit KTT di youtube jadi 1700.
Dalam 4 hari, jadi 7000 lebih.
Lebih banyak daripada hit-nya lagu UNTUK INDONESIA yang udah ada di youtube dari bulan agustus 2008.

Ketika gue dapat kesempatan itu, gue deg degan setengah mati.
Coz i was about to pull a Kanye Stunt.

I was about to say the same thing BUT TO THE PEOPLE OF THE WORLD.
I was guessing, somehow, this performance of mine will end up in youtube.
It has to be.
So i made a speech.
Di intro, gue bilang bahwa walaupun orang luar negri takut untuk ke Indonesia, tapi bangsa Indonesia tidak takut. Bahwa mayoritas orang Indonesia cinta damai, sperti mayoritas orang yg ada di negara mereka.
Di akhir, gue memanggil musisi luar negri untuk datang ke Indonesia dan buktikan pada dunia bahwa merekapun tidak takut. Merekapun menolak untuk terintimidasi oleh teroris, dan dengan itu, kami yang mengidolai mereka ikut berani.
Tiba tiba, setelah speech di outro, masih ada sisa di lagunya.. Tiba tiba gue berkata
“oh, buat teroris” lalu gue turunkan mic gue dan berujar “Mampus lo”
Dan membuat sebuah gesture seakan akan gue ingin melepas kepala mereka dari leher mereka.

Tiba tiba, lebih banyak orang lagi yg nonton dan lebih banyak orang lagi yang terbakar…
The snowball, just got bigger.
Nama nama seperti Daniel Tumiwa, Alexander Abimanyu, gue dan Rama sudah pernah masuk TV untuk bercerita tentang indonesiaunite yang pada tahap ini, harusnya berpindah jadi gerakan diluar dunia internet.
Koran Sindo membuat ½ halaman tentang Indonesiaunite
Strait Times Singapore juga memberitakan hal yang sama.
CNN !!! Bahkan membacakan salah satu tweet dengan hashtag indonesiaunite.
Tepatnya, tweetnya wina hananto J
Bayu Oktara juga menyebar informasinya dari begitu banyak radio.
Begituuuuu banyaaaaaak nama nama yang sama sama berjuang untuk indonesiaunite membuat gue enggan utk menyebut nama.
Takut ga kesebut yg lain.
Hari ini, indonesiaunite sudah ada .comnya, ada facebook pagenya
Ada kaosnya
Ada pinnya
Dan yang lebih indah lagi, semua orang bisa berkarya apapun.
Semua orang bisa bikin kaos, bisa bikin pin, pita, lagu, poster, apapun untuk indonesiaunite
Saat ini, Barry Likumahuwa lagi memimpin penggagasan musicfest yang kami sepakati harusnya menjadi akhir dari gerakan online (di internet) dan awal dari indonesiaunite offline (dikehidupan nyata)
