Anak ini sedang bersiap untuk melakukan proses kemoterapi.
Dia begitu takut akan disuntik sehingga seorang psikolog harus mengalihkan perhatiannya kepada rekaman video anak anak naik delman yang tersimpan di handphone-nya.
Dia akan diambil sumsumnya dari tulang belakangnya untuk diperiksa kankernya yang dicurigai mengarah ke otak. Di lokasi suntik yang sama dia diberikan obat yang dia butuhkan.
Begitu takutnya dia dengan proses itu, berulang kali dia bertanya,
“Suntiknya dimana Ma? Suntiknya dimana Ma?”
Menjelang dia disuntik, dia mulai memanggil manggil mama-nya dalam keadaan terbius.
Disampingnya, Sang Ibu berbisik di kupingnya “Mama disini sayang…”
Disampingnya, koleksi kerang yang dia simpan di dalam sebuah kotak.
Disampingnya, kami yang menyaksikan dia dengan kuyu dalam pengaruh obat memanggil manggil Mamanya…
Rintihan yang akan membuat bahkan siapapun meneteskan air mata.
Tidak terkecuali gue.
Kemarin gue baru dari RS Kanker Dharmais…
Bertemu dengan anak anak yang umurnya bervariasi antara 5 tahun sampai 12 tahun yang menderita kanker.
They are all kids…
Kids.
The kind of creature that are pure from sins and guilts and bad things that looms earth.
Gue teringat kembali betapa mereka masih (dan akan selalu) membutuhkan bantuan kita.
Uang?
