Banyak hal yang tidak seharusnya terjadi, telah terjadi.

Termasuk harga bahan dasar yang melambung di seluruh dunia. Tadi di koran gue baca artikel yang mengatakan naiknya harga bahan dasar bisa mengakibatkan kemiskinan dan juga bahkan perang.
Apa yang kita lakukan mengetahui fakta tadi?
Sewaktu launching album gue, gue mau mengucapkan sesuatu tapi ga jadi. Gue pikir gue udah kebanyakan ngomong. Gue mau bilang bahwa seharusnya setiap orang menjadikan filantrofi sebagai bagian dari hidup mereka. Seperti misalnya gue dengan C3. Gue adalah entertainer, entrepreneur dan bagian dari C3. Gue ga mengharuskan orang orang untk menjadi bagian dari C3. Menolong terkadang membutuhkan “panggilan” Gue terpanggil untuk menolong C3. Tapi masih banyak di Indonesia yang butuh pertolongan.
SD Pantara misalnya, Pengungsi Aceh dan Jogjakarta (ternyata masih ada yg tinggal di penampungan!), sekolah gratis, korban lumpur LAPINDO, dll. Mereka butuh pertolongan setiap hari, bukan hanya kalau lagi lebaran atau lagi kurban. Kita banyak yang beramal hanya di 2 momen tersebut. Sementara faktanya mereka membutuhkan uluran tangan kita setiap hari
Maka menjadi bagian dari sebuah organisasi non profit yang bertujuan untuk menolong orang orang tidak mampu menjadi sangat penting.
Faktanya adalah, kita bisa dan mampu untuk menolong.
Apakah itu dalam cara menyumbangkan uang, waktu atau tenaga. Atau bahkan menyumbangkan expertise.
Hanya saja, kita cenderung enggan. Biasanya, karena takut ribet. Padahal yang bikin ribet diri kita sendiri. Kalau kita mau kita bisa mencari cara agar menolong menjadi mudah.
Pertanyaannya, “mau atau nggak?”
Karena harga bahan dasar di dunia naik, akan terlalu banyak orang yang sebentar lagi akan semakin membutuhkan pertolongan elo dan gue.
Mau menghindari perang? Kriminalitas?
Kita bisa lakukan sesuatu, dengan menjadi bagian dari sesuatu.
