Hari ini, akun twitter dari media massa memberitakan soal Bapak Tifatul Sembiring yang mempertanyakan etika ber-twitter..
Teman teman saya, termasuk @treespotter dan @revolutia bereaksi
Memangnya seperti apa sih tweet Pak Sembiring yang dipermasalahkan?
Ada 2 tweetnya, yg pertama isinya
“Mohon masukan teman2, twitter itu media komunikasi spt apa ya, apakah seseorang bebas memilih atau menolak teman u/ berkomunikasi, tksh”
dan yang kedua
“Ok, twitter media publik, bebas follow/unfollow, trus perlu gak etika/sopan santun dlm komunikasi via twitter ini?”
lalu atas dasar 2 tweet tadi, banyak orang marah marah dan menujukan kemarahannya kepada Pak Tif…
Sejujurnya, entah kenapa banyak yang marah marah… karena beliau cuma nanya.

Mungkin @revolutia dan @treespotter panas karena “headline”nya si akun twitter yg pertama kali ngetweet soal ini.. yaitu akun @tvOneNews.. lucu, padahal biasanya apapun yang TV One katakan tidak pernah didengarkan oleh kawan2 saya ini

Pendapat saya sendiri terhadap pertanyaan Pak Tif?
Menurut saya, pertanyaan Pak Tif bagus sekali.
Sudah waktunya kita mempertanyakan etika orang di Indonesia.
Kenapa Etika di Twitter jadi sesuatu yang penting?
Sederhana sekali, karena Twitter adalah alat untuk bebas berpendapat.
Twitter memberikan kita kebebasan, tapi apakah kita sudah cukup bijak untuk menanggapi kebebasan tersebut?
Percaya deh sama saya, mereka yang mulutnya ketus di twitter, tidak berani seperti demikian di kehidupan nyata. Kenapa, karena di kehidupan nyata, etika berpendapat sudah jelas.
Memang anda bebas untuk bilang ” Eh badan lo bau kayak bau anjing basah”
Tapi itu kan menyinggung perasaan orang.
Toh pada prinsipnya semua orang bebas untuk melakukan dan mengucapkan apapun selama tidak bersinggungan dengan kebebasan orang lain.
Saya tidak minta supaya tweet orang orang lalu di sensor, tapi saya setuju untuk dipertanyakan.
Kenapa ditanya? Supaya dijawab. Lewat pembahasan.
Saya pribadi sering dihina followers atau pengguna twitter lain ) (inget orang ga perlu follow anda utk tau tweet2 anda lho.. tinggal baca timeline-nya aja.. misalnya dgn buka http://twitter.com/pandjimusic anda bisa baca semua tweet disitu)
Saya tidak marah marah , tapi bukan berarti saya nggak marah.
Gimana nggak marah, berikut adalah kata kata yang sering ditujukan kepada saya
F*CK, NGE**OT, K****L, dan tentunya yang paling sering adalah A****G

Anda bisa aja bablasin lampu merah kalau jalan lagi kosong dan tidak ada polisi di sekitar, tapi kan bukan berarti anda boleh.
Anda bisa aja korupsi duit kantor, apalagi kalau dalam posisi yg mengatur arus keuangan dan kalau tidak ada yang akan bisa tahu, tapi kan bukan berarti anda boleh
Anda bisa aja menghina seseorang karena dia berseberangan pendapat dengan anda, atau karena anda ga suka sama orang itu, tapi bukan berarti anda boleh.
Jarang memang banyak yang ingat, bahwa kekerasan itu tidak hanya fisik tapi juga verbal.
jarang ada yang sadar, bahwa menghina dina dengan segala omongan kasar adalah salah.
Inikah kebebasan berpendapat?
Inikah hasil dari penggunaan twitter sebagai alat pemberi kebebasan berpendapat?
Kalau ini adalah kebebasan yang diinginkan oleh banyak orang di Indonesia, saya tidak takut untuk berkata
“Ini bukanlah kebebasan yang saya impikan untuk Indonesia”
