Gue merasa nggak nyaman kalau ada orang yg bilang Indonesia stagnan sejak sekian lama
Apalagi yg berkata bahwa Indonesia mengalami kemunduran.
Menurut gue tidak benar.
Bahwa Indonesia penuh dgn masalah, betul.
Bahwa Indonesia mundur, salah.
Bukannya tidak maju. Justru semakin maju, tantangannya semakin berat dan baru.
Its like playing a video game.
Semakin naik level, semakin berat tantangannya.
Masalah Indonesia semakin rumit justru karena kita sekarang ada dalam tahap yg jauh lebih maju daripada sebelumnya.
Bagaimana kita bisa bilang Indonesia mundur?
Lihat Indonesia sekarang dan lihat apa yang terjadi dulu.
Kebebasan berpendapat
Pemahaman dan pemantauan politik yg lebih baik
Ekonomi yg lebih baik karena pos2 ekonomi di pemerintahan tdk lagi dpegang orang titipan partai (yg menjadi unsur pembeda utama ketika Indonesia terkena dampak krisis moneter 98 dan ketika Indonesia tidak terdampak krisis ekonomi global 2009)
Kesempatan bisnis yang lebih terbuka
Berita berita tentang korupsi yg jadi langganan sehari hari menandakan bahwa kini media memiliki kebebasan untuk melakukan pemberitaan yg dulu dianggap sensitif oleh pemerintah dan juga menandakan bahwa perlawanan terhadap korupsi terus berjalan, ketimbang dulu yg disembunyikan
Mengatakan bahwa Indonesia mundur atau stagnan, berarti menganggap tiada perjuangan dan pengorbanan semua orang yg telah bekerja keras untuk menjadikan Indonesia seperti hari ini. Dari para guru, hingga tokoh yg mengubah wajah Indonesia seperti Gus Dur dan Munir.
Tantangan semakin berat, karena level perjuangan telah meningkat.
Indonesia harus gulung lengan baju dan siap utk bekerja keras.
Karena tidak ada sukses yg diraih dgn mudah.
Semuanya harus lewat usaha.
