Sampai dgn hari ini, banyak org yang salah mengartikan Nasionalisme.
Kebanyakan berpikir bahwa Nasionalisme adalah “Cinta Indonesia” atau “Semangat kebangsaan”
Banyak yg salah menggunakan kata Nasionalisme dalam obrolan. Contoh:
“Tunjukkan Nasionalisme kamu dgn membeli produk Indonesia”
Atau
“Katanya Nasionalisme, kok pake bahasa inggris?”
Atau
“Bagaimana cara menunjukkan Nasionalisme kita?”
Itu semua adalah contoh penggunaan (yg datang dari pemaknaan) Nasionalisme yang salah.
Dlm bahasa sederhana, Nasionalisme adalah paham yg percaya bahwa perbedaan dlm sebuah negara harus dipersatukan.
Beda kan?
Kebayang kesalahan penggunaan di atas?
Kalau maksudnya adalah cinta Indonesia, kalimatnya sebaiknya ya begini aja:
“Tunjukkan kecintaan kamu kpd Indonesia dgn membeli produk Indonesia”
Atau
“Katanya cinta Indonesia, kok pake bahasa inggris?”
Atau
“Bagaimana cara menunjukkan kecintaan kita kpd Indonesia?”
Dan sebenarnya, kalau cinta Indonesia itu adalah tidak boleh pake bahasa asing dan hanya boleh pakai bahasa Indonesia saja, mnurut saya itu kecintaan yg dangkal.
Kalau cinta Indonesia ditunjukkan dgn beli produk2 Indonesia saja, itu cetek kecintaannya.
Cinta Indonesia ditunjukkan lewat karya. Lewat apa yg kita lakukan UNTUK Indonesia
Bung Karno sering pake bahasa inggris dan belanda dalam pidatonya kepada sesama bangsa Indonesia
Bung Hatta mengidam idamkan sepatu merk asing Balley.
Berani bilang mereka tidak cinta Indonesia?
Kembali kepada penggunaan istilah, selama ini rakyat Indonesia memang sering salah kaprah dlm menggunakan istilah..
Pada era 80an, gue inget banget byk org yg manggil bule (org asing) dgn sebutan Albino. Padahal Albino beda lagi artinya, sebuah kelainan dlm pigmentasi kulit.
Lalu hari ini byk yg salah menggunakan kata Anarki, Anarkis, Anarkisme.
“Demo yg berlangsung anarkis”
Atau “Terjadi anarskisme antara pendukung kedua kubu”
Kesannya Anarki itu artinya “Kekerasan”
Padahal, Anarkisme itu artinya: Paham yg percaya sebuah negara bisa berjalan tanpa Pemerintahan. Krn paham ini meyakini Pemerintah melakukan kezaliman kpd masyarakat.
Beda kan?
Balik ke Nasionalisme: Sebuah paham yg percaya bahwa perbedaan di sebuah negara harus dipersatukan.
Agar negara yg penuh dgn keragaman itu bisa hidup dlm persatuan dan keharmonisan.
Wujudnya bagaimana?
Beda beda
Di Amerika Serikat, negara para imigran dipersatukan lewat salah satunya olahraga.
Saat dunia punya Football, Amerika menciptakan American Football.
Karena “modern football” itu dikenal besar di Inggris.
Football tidak mengakomodir imigran2 lain yg tdk merasa sebudaya dgn football-nya inggris.
Juga Basketball yg merupakan produk asli Amerika.
Lewat olahraga2 ini, semua imigran berpartisipasi lewat “produk bersama” sehingga persatuan itu muncul.
Itu hanya segelintir contoh di Amerika.
Di Indonesia sendiri wujud Nasionalisme-nya seperti apa?
Jawabannya: PANCASILA.
Dasar negara, tempat di mana semua suku, agama, keragaman, berpijak. Dasar yg mempersatukan perbedaan kita.
Pancasila, yang menjadikan Indonesia tidak senasib dgn India yg harus terpecah menjadi Pakistan krn setelah bebas dari Inggris, masy Islam (minoritas di India) takut tidak akan diakomodir kebutuhaannya. Maka peranglah India antara Islam dan Hindu.
Pada momen inilah Gandhi puasa makan sampai kekerasan di India berhenti.
Akhirnya seluruh India berhenti perang saudara, krn ingin Gandhi kembali makan.
Namun hasil akhirnya, India akhirnya pecah. Masy muslimnya kemudian menjadi Pakistan. Migrasi masyarakat Islam dan Hindu ke daerah India dan Pakistan sangat memilukan.
Pancasila jugalah yg membuat Indonesia dikagumi dunia sebagai negara yg demokratis. Rata2 negara Islam (atau neg dgn penduduk Islam yg tinggi) itu dipimpin oleh rezim2 yg lama. Makanya skarang rezim2 itu pada goyang.
Indonesia sejak 98 tidak lagi begitu.
Perkembangan praktek demokrasi dan pertumbuhan ekonomi kita kini luar biasa.
Makanya Amerika senang dgn kita. Hehehe. Di negara yg demokratis, bisnis dan ekonomi bisa berkembang. Soal bisnis, Amerika (mrasa) paling megang.
Makanya mereka punya kbutuhan ekonomi di Indonesia.
Pancasila adalah pemersatu Indonesia
Pancasila adalah alasan kita bisa seperti sekarang.
Krn itu pendidikan akan Pancasila masih sangat relevan.
Nama pelajarannya bisa berganti ganti. Dari PMP ke PPKN ke PKN dan entah kelak apa lagi, tapi Pancasila wajib dikenalkan, diajarkan, dan terpenting, di amalkan.
Pancasila, adalah wujud nasionalisme kita.
Kini, kita sama sama tau makna Nasionalisme
