Yg ini: Nasionalis Asal Komersil

Label ini sudah biasa ditempelkan org kepada gue
Katanya gue nasionalis komersil, walau gue ga bener bener yakin apa maksudnya, tapi kyknya mereka ga suka melihat gue dapet uang dari “menjajakan” nasionalisme
Kalau memang itu yg dimaksud, gue agak bingung karena pertama tama, apa yg gue lakukan adalah sesuatu yg memang gue ingin ucapkan, sesuatu yg ingin gue utarakan, sesuatu yg ingin gue sampaikan.
Tentu, byk yg tidak percaya, dan tentu gue tidak perlu ucapkan atau lakukan apapun utk mereka percaya.
Yg penting gue tulus.
Nah, pertanyaannya, misalnya gue melakukan sesuatu dgn tulus, salahkah kalau misalnya gue mendapatkan imbalan?
Ada mungkin yg berkata “Jelas salah, kalau emang tulus harusnya tdk dapat imbalan”
Maka gue akan bertanya balik
“Menurut elo TNI tulus ga dalam membela negara? Digaji ga mereka?”
Atau gue tanya, Presiden harusnya tulus ga dlm memimpin negara? Digaji ga?
Nelson Mandela, org yg sangat dikagumi dunia itu saja digaji sbg Presiden. Padahal ketulusannya memajukan Afrika Selatan rasanya tidak perlu ditanyakan lagi.
Pada intinya begini “If you do something good, you will get something in return.”
Mungkin bukan uang, tapi tentu Tuhan punya imbalan utk perbuatan tsb.
Maka mempertanyakan imbalan yg diterima seseorang krn dia tulus melakukan sesuatu sesungguhnya aneh. Krn di agama, berbuat baikpun diganjar dgn pahala. Walau tentunya, hrsnya bukan pahala yg dikejar dgn sengaja berbuat baik
Sederhananya gini:
Misalnya elo sangat passionate thd dunia fotografi. Elo cinta sekali dgn fotografi. Masak krn elo tulus dlm berkarya lalu elo minta supaya tdk dibayar?
Tau nggak berapa harga sebuah karya fotografer yg berbulan2 di dalam hutan krn passionate dgn gorila atau berbulan2 di negara dlm kondisi perang. Mahal!
Ada pemahaman yg salah antara tulus dan uang.
Padahal surga dunia adalah ketika kita bisa hidup dari melakukan sesuiatu yg kita cintai.
Gue sendiri, tdk menutup fakta bahwa gue mendapatkan sesuatu dari apa yg gue lakukan ini.
Ada yg materi sifatnya, ada yg bukan.
Lalu anggapan bahwa gue “mengkomersilkan/menjual nasionalisme” sesungguhnya membuat gue bingung.
Bagaimana dgn Bimbo, apakah mereka dianggap menjual agama dgn hidup dari musik religius dan nampak ramai di TV ketika Ramadhan saja?
Atau band2 yg keluarkan album religi ketika Ramadhan, apakah mereka dianggap menjual agama?
Bagaimana dgn cinta? Kenapa tdk ada yg protes dgn “mengkomersilkan” cinta?
Cinta harusnya tulus datang dlm jiwa seseorang untuk orang yg dia kasihi. Ini adalah hadiah terindah dari Tuhan. Sesuatu yg dimiliki semua orang. Seperti jg agama dan kecintaan thd negara.
Apakah ada yg protes dgn band2 yg temanya cinta?
Apakah ada yg protes dgn hari valentine di mana pada hari itu industri seakan mendikte “kalau cinta maka belilah sesuatu utk tgl 14 februari”
Atau bagaimana dgn privacy?
Adakah yg protes kepada infotainment, media gosip, yg menjual privacy seseorang kepada publik.
Apakah infotainment akan batal memberitakan perceraian sepasang artis apabila artisnya minta utk tidak diberitakan?
I never heard of that?
Bagaimana dgn menjual “rebel”.
Semangat pemberontakan jg byk yg sudah jadi sesuatu yg komersil.
Bahkan ada bukunya “Rebel Sell” sampulnya foto sebuah cangkir dgn gambar Che Guevara.
Membuat org yg “rebel” jadi membeli musik mereka. Tidakkah itu juga masuk kategori “mengkomersilkan” ?
Apakah ada yg protes kepada Rage Against The Machine atau Koil atau Homicide karena mereka menjual “semangat pemberontak”
Mungkin di sini ada yg akan berkata, “Ah Koil atau Homicide tdk bisa dikategorikan komersil. Mereka underground”
Lah memang definisi komersil apa? A sense of commerce di mana ada aktifitas jual-beli.
Lagipula, kalo skala besar dan kecil jadi patokan komersil atau tidak, maka harusnya gue ga masuk kategori komersil.
Wong album pertama gue aja cuma bikin 4000 keping..
Album kedua cuma 3000 keping.
PerCD gue terima 25rb dari harga jual 50rb krn 50% gue sumbangkan ke Yayasan Pita Kuning Anak Indonesia utk adik2 pasien kanker.

Gue sendiri, tidak menganggap semua yg di atas mengkomersilkan sesuatu.
Bagi gue, mereka melakukan sesuatu yg mereka cintai, dan mendapat imbalan dari situ.
Bottom line, I never get people who thinks I’m commercializing the love for our country.
But its okay, to me, its funny.
Apabila org mau mengkritik gue mengkomersilkan nasionalisme, ya terserah. Gue sih trima trima aja.
Karena sebagai seseorang yg sangat menyukai dunia Pemasaran, saya selalu mencari cara agar produk saya bisa terjual dgn baik.
Malah ini juga kenapa saya cari cara agar musisi bisa hidup dari musik walau budaya unduh gratis dan pembajakan sdg marak.
Coz I love marketing.
Jadi saya sih kuat menerima kritik seperti itu..
Asal mereka tidak menganggap pedagang bendera merah putih, pedagang kaos2 timnas dan merchandise Indonesia di pinggir GBK, atau atlet yg membela negara seraya berteriak “Indonesiaaaaa” & mencium bendera merah putih di kaosnya sebagai Nasionalis Asal Komersil hanya karena mereka dapat imbalan atas apa yg mereka lakukan dgn tulus
Karena kasian, udah tulus, eeeh dapet label: NASAKOM
Hehehehe
