Memang terhitung terlambat gue menulis soal insiden Om Pong Harjatmo.
Sebenarnya, sejujurnya, gue rada enggan untuk menulis tapi entah kenapa kepikiran mulu.
Mungkin sudah dengar kabar bahwa atas dasar kekecewaan, Om Pong Harjatmo, aktor kawakan senior yang sering berperan jadi tokoh antagonis memutuskan untuk manjat gedung “kura kura” DPR ketika yang lain sedang Shalat Jumat, dan mencoret dengan pylox atas gedung tersebut dengan 3 buah kata:
JUJUR, ADIL, TEGAS.
Belakangan, setelah ditangkap, beliau dilepaskan.
Kejadian ini, meledak nggak karuan di twitter.
Di timeline gue, orang orang terbagi 2 rata.
Ada yang setuju dan menganggap Om Pong adalah pahlawan yang berani bertindak.
Ada yang nggak setuju dengan anggapan bahwa biar gimanapun juga, yang beliau lakukan salah karena vandalisme.
Gue sendiri cukup mengenal beliau, kami sempat cukup lama shooting bareng untuk sebuah program acara televisi.
Karena gue cukup mengenal beliau, gue ragu kalau tindakan beliau disebut kalap atau impulsif atau hilang akal.
Om Pong adalah jebolan pendidikan akting. Bahkan juga mengajar.
Beliau secara refleks mengajari gue cara bersikap, berdiri, berbicara, bahasa tubuh, cara berhadapan dengan perempuan kepada gue ketika melihat gue membawakan acara.
Sikap dan tutur beliau sangat rapih, tenang dan terstruktur.
Agak nggak mungkin kalau beliau hilang akal.
Apapun yang Om Pong lakukan adalah karena beliau sudah memikirkan secara matang.
Itu gue yakini.
Lalu apa pendapat gue sendiri?
Gue sih nggak setuju 
Alasannya akan gue terangkan..
Pertama tama, gue harus jelaskan dulu 1 hal: Gue adalah penggemar berat BANKSY.
Untuk yang belum tahu, silakan cek di wikipedia atau google picture aja nama itu.
Beliau adalah seniman yang luar biasa yang menggunakan fasilitas umum sebagai kanvasnya.
Di tangan beliau, vandalisme jadi sesuatu yang indah, namun tidak hilang dari tujuan vandalisme “Mencuri Perhatian”
Untuk apa perhatian publik dicuri? Untuk menyampaikan sebuah pesan.
Dalam konteks Om Pong pesannya jelas: Kecewa kepada DPR.
Kedua, gue datang dari latar belakang desain. Desain Produk tepatnya. Sehingga gue agak sedih gedung itu dicoret coret. Karena di mata gue, DPR secara kelembagaan tidaklah salah. Nggak mungkin salah. Itu adalah buah pemikiran Bung Hatta yg di awal masa kemerdekaan banyak bekerja untuk menyiapkan sistematika bernegara.
Termasuk UUD 45.
Yang salah anggota DPR-nya. Yang harusnya “diserang” adalah anggota DPRnya.. Gedungnya salah apa? 
Banyak yang bilang “Gedung itu adalah simbol dari anggota DPR yang payah”
Menurut gue, gedung itu adalah simbol dari DPR. Gedung itu tidak mewakili isinya. tidak mewakili orang orangnya.
Yang gue takuti adalah, kalau kita semua berpikir bahwa lembaga DPR yang salah , maka selamanya kita akan antipati dengan DPR.
Coba gue tanya sama elo, Imam Samudra membom Bali atas nama Islam. Apakah elo lalu menyalahkan Islamnya?
Nggak kan?
Kenapa tidak bisa kita berpikir yang sama akan DPR?
Bukan lembaga DPRnya yang salah, tapi anggotanya.
Lalu apa yang bisa kita lakukan?
Satu hal: BERPOLITIK!
Berpolitik tidak harus jadi politisi.
Berpolitik itu dengan tidak alergi dengan politik, mengikuti perkembangannya, mempelajarinya, mengenalnya, dan dengan menggunakan kekuatan politik kita dengan benar.
Indonesia adalah negara demokrasi terbesar di dunia, kita memilih anggota legislatif, kita memilih presiden.
Penggunaan kekuatan politik kita memang belum sempurna, tapi kita sudah punya dasarnya. Pemilu oleh rakyat.
Anak muda nggak boleh anti politik. Kalau semua anti politik lalu siapa orang bersih yang mau masuk DPR dan menggeser keluar politikus busuk?

Kini, orang sudah mulai lupa akan kejadian Om Pong.
Nama beliau tidak lagi disebutkan sama sekali di twitter.
Kini, yang tersisa adalah sebuah pertanyaan besar yang menggantung di kepala.
PErtanyaan yang jadi alasan utama kenapa gue nggak setuju dengan tindakan Om Pong:
“Bagaimana caranya Om Pong menerangkan kepada anak anak yang vandal di tembok rumah orang, bahwa apa yang mereka lakukan itu tidak boleh, tapi apa yang Om Pong lakukan boleh… Bagaimana ?”
