Modal gue, wikipedia.
Berhubung sebentar lagi hari Sumpah Pemuda gue memutuskan untuk membaca kembali hal hal yang berkaitan dengan Sumpah Pemuda.
Tapi pencarian gue membawa mata gue berpetualang jauh dari tanggal 28 oktober 1928 itu.
Gue menemukan hal hal menarik dibalik semua itu.
Gue mempelajari Mohammad Yamin yang terlebih dahulu dikenal sebagai seorang SENIMAN. Tepatnya, sastrawan!
Karya karya beliaulah yang menjadikan beliau aktif dan bergabung dalam PPPI yang melakukan kongres pemuda se Indonesia disebuah tempat yang sangat sangat…. biasa.
Bayangkan, pada masa itu, rumah yang dipakai menampung begitu banyak pemuda pemudi Indonesia yang melahirkan sejarah begitu besar adalah kost-kostan..
Mohammad Yamin juga yang menulis Sumpah Setia yang pada akhirnya kita kenal dengan Sumpah Pemuda.
Setelah dibacakan, Mohammad Yamin berdiri dan menerangkan apa yang dimaksud dalam tulisannya.
Mohammad Yamin pertama kali menangkap perhatian lewat karyanya “Tanah Air” yang sebenarnya dimaksud adalah Sumatra
Lalu tahun 1928 beliau menulis karya “Tanah Airku” yang akhirnya jadi besar karena semangat yang sedang terbakar tahun itu dikalangan pemuda.
Ada 1 yang menarik dari penemuan gue.
Sebuah organisasi yang awalnya adalah untuk penyelenggara pesta dansa yang akhirnya berubah jadi organisasi pemuda nasionalis.
Mereka membuat buletin yg pada awalnya juga ga ada bau bau nasionalisnya… hingga jadi alat propaganda perjuangan
Didalamnya, nama nama seperti Ki Hadjar Dewantoro, Mohammad hatta, dll…
