A: Sebenarnya almarhum bukan stand up, tapi almarhum joke telling. Apa bedanya dgn standup? Joke telling itu menceritakan anekdot2 umum seperti: Ada org amerika, jepang dan indonesia masuk ke bar.

A: Acara Stand Up yg di KompasTV sistem kompetisi seperti Last Comic Standing. Atau sederhananya, macam American Idol tapi Stand Up. Tiap hari Sabtu jam 19.30 WIB
Sementara yang di MetroTV adalah stand up show seperti biasa di mana dlm 1 eps ada 3 comic bergiliran stand up selama 5-7menit. Tiap hari Rabu jam 22.30 WIB

Tiap akhir bulan, Provocative Proactive Radio Show bikin stand up special mengundang sejumlah comic. Siapapun bole dateng untuk nonton, gratis, bahkan ada makan + minum gratis. Tinggal datang ke Gedung Sarinah Thamrin lantai 8 jam 21.00 pada hari selasa terakhir di setiap bulan. Pantau aja infonya di akun @hardrockfm

A: Open mic itu BUKAN istilah utk orang yang sedang stand up. Open mic itu adalah acara yg biasanya digelar kafe2 comedy untuk amatiran yg ingin menjajal dirinya. Biasanya jadi ajang comic baru cari nama. Gue pribadi menggunakan openmic utk jajal materi2 baru sebelum gue gunakan di gig komersil. Openmic biasanya gratis, tp tentunya ketika di kafe tsb tetep harus mesen makan/minum dan tetep bayar
Catatan: Tidak semua acara stand up itu openmic.
