Gue harap elo mengerti ketika gue bilang Late Majority.
Jadi ada beberapa jenis konsumen.
Innovators, orang yang menciptakan trend.
Early Adaptors, orang orang pertama yang mengadaptasi trend
Early Majority, mayoritas awal yang mengadaptasi trend setelah dia melihat orang orang influensial duluan mengadaptasi.
Late Majority, adalah orang orang yang memilih nunggu kebanyakan orang mengadaptasi trend, baru mereka ikutan.
Laggard, orang yang masuk golongan basian.
Nahhh, pemikiran bahwa gue adalah orang yang masuk ke kategori Late Majority untuk urusan musik pop berawal dari celetukan seseorang yang dengerin gue nyanyi nyanyi lagu RAN.
Katanya “Kemana aje lo? Baru doyan RAN sekarang?”
Setelah gue pikir pikir… Iya ya.. kenapa gue baru sekarang suka RAN?
Padahal sebagai orang yang siaran di HRFM harusnya gue duluan suka.
Tapi justru tidak.
Setelah gue ingat ingat lagi, ternyata gue sering telat doyan lagu lagu dan musisi yang lagi ngetrend…
Kayak sekarang ini, gue lagi tergila gila dengan RAN dan Soulvibe… Rada telat momentumnya…
Trus sepanjang kuliah, lingkungan gue suka dengan musik Swing. Gue justru jadi doyan setelah gue lulus.
Kemudian orang orang udah pada bosen dengan Bon Jovi, gue malah baru dengerin…
Duh, banyak banget setelah dipikir pikir…
Hehehehehe
Kenapa ya gue suka telat untuk urusan lagu lagu Pop?
Memang biasanya, secara teori, kalau ada yang Early Majority untuk sebuah bidang, bisa jadi dia Late Majority untuk sektor lain…
Misalnya seseorang merupakan Early Adopter untuk urusan Fashion, bisa jadi dia Late Majority untuk urusan politik atau gadget.
Tapi gue masih ga habis pikir untuk kasus gue…
